Tangerine Trees and Marmalade skies...

Here in Melbourne we sweltered through an extremely hot weekend, but thankfully a welcome cool change came through in the afternoon, turning the sky the most amazing colour...

The smell of the rain enticed me out into the garden....I love the smell of the earth after the rain....there was indeed magic in the air....

As I strolled down the garden path, I came upon a wonderful sight...a fairy ring on the grass...with a magical chalice inside. Hmmmm....I wonder if I should take a sip? As you know, in all good fairytales, something magical always happens when you take a sip....oh, I'm becoming very small!

Look there! Two of the most beautiful fairies in the land! (Thanks Georgia and Abby, he he)...They called me over, and asked if I would like to accompany them to afternoon tea in the garden...of course, I said yes! (The dishes can wait...)

They summoned the Fairy Queen to give me a ride on her beautiful peacock, and off we flew in the direction of Fairyland....
