Ok, so I think I'm a wee bit late, but I promise I have a really good excuse...look at this little face! This is our new little puppy, Pip! Isn't she cute? Wow, I forgot how time-consuming puppies can be!
Anyway, thankyou to http://vintagebellastudio.blogspot.com/ for hosting this lovely event 'Show What You Create'.
I am new to blogging, but if you scroll through some of my older posts you will see that I love creating, especially mixed media canvases at the moment, but I also love to dress up and take pretty pictures!
I am showing you my latest piece which I blogged about in my last post - I had a lot of fun creating her when I was feeling restless last Saturday afternoon...that's how it is for me sometimes...I just feel an overwhelming urge to create something fun.
The other piece I wanted to share is a favourite - I love vintage images, and decided to use this lovely lady to create this piece.
So thankyou for stopping by, and I look forward to visiting all the other lovely blogs to see what everyone else is up to...my very favourite thing to do - so many amazing artists out there. Please drop back anytime...my blog is a little bit of this and that, and I love to read your comments.
Your canvases are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteomgoodness I went to say your canvases are beautiful and I see the last guest said exactly that........but, your canvases are beautiful....I love being able to see everyone's different styles!

ReplyDeleteI saw your site yesterday for the blog party- even before this post was up and I was charmed! I thought- this woman AND her lovely whimsical daughters are such kindred spirits to me! Then this morning I woke up, saw that you left a comment on my blog... and on the way to leaving you a message I saw that you were studying art therapy!! I am finishing up my Masters of Social Work (clinical program) and then I will get accredited in expressive art therapy! Small world- totally kindred spirits! So glad you are out there!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your darling family-

ReplyDeleteCheers.
Thank you for visiting me. I was so sorry to hear about your beloved Bobby who reminded you of my Albie. But then I opened up your blog page and here is your new little darling! What a cutie pie. New pups can never replace our old pals, but it's wonderful that our hearts are big enough to take in new little four-leggeds and love them just as much.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead!
Holly
